Editing Your Profile

The first thing you'll want to do is to add your profile picture. This will show up on the surfbar anytime someone views one of your websites. To add your profile picture just click on "Browse" and find the file of your choice.

Next click On the "Social" tab ... here you will find a list of Social Networks that you can add to the surfbar. Just fill out any fields you'd like to show on the surfbar by your profile picture. As you fill them out, a preview will appear to the right hand side as shown.

Step 2 - Adding Your Site

We've made adding a site extremely easy to do. Just click the "Add A Site" button on the sites page. Then you'll be prompted to add a name and url for your site. Choose a descriptive and accurate name, as it will appear in the Gallery area of Thumbvu.

To assign credits to your site and create a campaign, click on the "Assign" link. This will bring up the above popup. Here you enter any name you like, how many credits to assign, and upgraded members also get to choose a colored border to make their thumbnail stick out on the surfbar.

Step 3 - Surfing

Surfing at Thumbvu.com is also rather easy and intuitive. To go to the next site, all you have to do is click on the thumbnail that sticks out most for you ... it can be any one. And if you don't like any of the current 3 thumbnails that are shown, you can just click the "More" button to grab 3 new ones.

To report a site that violates our TOS, click on the "Report" button, or to open it in a new window to review later, click "New Window". You can also easily get back to the members area just by clicking where it says "Members Area"

Our surfbar is also movable, and minimizable. To move the surfbar out of the way to better view a site, just click and drag the icon in the top left corner. Alternatively, you can click "Hide" to minimize the surfbar completely.

Finally, you have the ability to rate any site you choose, by clicking on the "Thumbs up" or "Thumbs down" icons in the bottom right of the surfbar. This will affect a sites rating and popularity in the Gallery

By clicking on the "Connect with Member" button, you'll easily be able to see who's site you are viewing and connect with them on multiple social network sites instantly. Just as you added your social profile in step one, this is where those sites and your profile picture will show up.

Also, upgraded members have the ability to add an Optin Ad to build their list directly from the surfbar
